When U.S. District Judge David Lawson ordered John Bravata’s assets frozen, he didn’t mean just some of his assets. He meant all assets frozen. So when accused Ponzi schemer Bravata borrowed $33,000 from his life insurance policies, Lawson found him in contempt and ordered the money paid back. He did it – the insurance money is back where it belongs and Bravata is still up to his eyeballs in hot water. Detroit News has the full story.
